Inkafarma is committed to the sustainable transformation of its express delivery service in Lima. The increase in delivery orders poses environmental challenges which call for implementing measures to reduce the carbon footprint and promoting responsible delivery practices in the districts where Inkafarma operates. Our target is to have over 50% of the express delivery orders in modern Lima served by sustainable vehicles such as bicycles, electric tricycles, scooters and electric vans.

To reach this target, the Inkafarma fleet was diversified with vehicles powered by clean energy, with no negative impact on the speed and efficiency of deliveries to clients.

This strategy also contributes to reduce traffic congestion in urban areas, which benefits both the environment and the citizens. As of the closing of 2023, 15% of the express delivery orders in modern Lima are served by a sustainable fleet, which marks a significant stride towards our target.
